Choosing between a VPS and a dedicated server

Choosing a server starts with the workload, not the biggest specification. A VPS provides virtual resources and can suit applications that need flexibility. A dedicated server provides physical hardware allocated to your service and can suit workloads with more demanding resource or isolation requirements.

Compare CPU, memory, storage capacity, network needs and your expected growth. Check what level of management is included and whether you are comfortable maintaining the operating system yourself. If you are unsure, tell our team what you plan to run and ask for help comparing the available configurations.
